This 1.5-hour training is packed with practical tools, real-world examples, and thoughtful insight to help you:

  • Recognize and confront personal and implicit biases and explore how they may influence therapeutic interactions and decision-making.
  • Cultivate a safe, inclusive space that supports meaningful connection, emotional safety, and long-term healing for African American clients. Use culturally sensitive verbal and non-verbal communication strategies
  • Develop practical techniques for culturally sensitive communication, including verbal and non-verbal cues that demonstrate respect, understanding, and cultural awareness.

 

Only Social Workers will receive 1.5 credit hours for completing this course.
